Who Shot First?

Subject: Myself.
Camera: Nikon D7000.
Location: Home.
Date Taken: 06/18/11.
Comment: I had originally planned something else entirely for my DeviantID, but I couldn't resist putting this one up. I was on my way back from my cousin's wedding, and I realized I had taken a lot of pictures of everyone but didn't get any good ones of myself.

I was responsible for the concept, and the camera settings, while the talented *mirroreyesserval helped by making sure the composition was correct, and being kind enough to POOSH BUTTAN.

Like all my black-and-white shots, I first shot this one in colour, and later desaturated it in Photoshop, as it's always good to have the option of a colour version if need be.

I know someone is going to ask, and even though they probably won't read this and I'll be stuck answering them anyhow: yes, my attire that night was mildly inspired by the video game L.A. Noire.
