Description
Subject: An Eastern Screech Owl (I'm pretty sure).
Camera: Nikon D7000.
Location: Wildlife Sanctuary.
Date Taken: 07/23/11.
Comment: I know, I know... it was the afternoon. To them, though, that's something like four in the morning!
This owl is being rehabilitated at an animal sanctuary. It was most likely brought in injured (which would explain what looks like some missing feathers on the face), and it will (if possible) be released back into the wild when it's ready.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactVision: I liked how you captured that, "WTF?" expression upon the owl's face, so perfectly. Of course, I'd probably be asking that myself if I was also an owl and my sleep was also being distracted from people walking around. xD
Originality: I liked the title of the picture and thought it definitely suited the look on the owl's face.
Technique: Great lightning and the image is very clear as well. I don't see anything you really need to approve on.
